$10,000 sign on bonus for both shifts
Conduct daily physical assessments of assigned individuals. Administer medications, treatments and tube feedings as prescribed by the physician., transcribe and implement physician’s orders using the electronic health record. Manage and provide care to tracheostomy-dependent and ventilator-dependent individuals after completing the required training. Intervene appropriately in the event of emergencies with individuals or staff. Document activities related to nursing and medical care in a timely manner and consistent with established formats. Safeguard Individual Rights. Assist in developing and updating the program plans of individuals when requested. Be knowledgeable about, and participate in the provision of Active Treatment programs for individuals. Assist with the maintenance of a safe and sanitary environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Participate in staff meetings and staff development programs as directed. Communicate with families and staff. Accompany individuals on appointments or field trips when requested. Direct/supervise the delivery of nursing care in the absence of the Director of Nursing. Delegate tasks allowed by the nursing license. Act as Charge Nurse as assigned. Precept new nurses.
